The food and service were great, and the location and facilities were wonderful. Sra Nete, the host, is kindness itself, and the staff are both dedicated and attentive. At the beach stand in the square, which is an extension of the pousada, Sr Jair serves a meal that's worthy of praise and plays music with great taste.

A peaceful, wonderfully simple place to relax, and I'd highly recommend it. I was welcomed warmly, the breakfast had plenty of variety, and it's very close to the beach.

We stayed at the pousada while visiting Lagoa azul. Our room, number 01, had some sealing issues, and a cockroach, little frog, and cricket all got inside. The bathroom drain wasn't working properly either. Still, it was a pleasant place overall, with a delicious, varied breakfast and good pizza from the pousada restaurant. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. What bothered us most was how loud the chatting and laughing got in the afternoon.

It was a really special stay. The place has a welcoming feel, good service, and lots of greenery, with a peaceful atmosphere for resting. The food was excellent too.
