The location is remote, though we could always get an Uber. Reaching the nearest beach meant a tough hike through deep sand. Noise was another problem: the place is right beside a dog kennel, with constant shrieking, and dogs at the neighboring houses seemed to bark and argue all night. If you sleep through noise, maybe it's manageable, but otherwise I'd stay away. There was supposed to be morning cafe, but we were just waved off and told it was “off season.” The only thing open was a counter shop with Heineken, bud light, coke, and bottled water. The pool looked dirty and nobody used it. The internet was poor too, with the router in the office and frequent signal dropouts. The rooms are spacious, which is about the only good thing. The big beds were actually two small ones tied together under a sheet, and we fell through the gap. Furniture was uncomfortable, even the office chairs were patio chairs. Privacy was nearly nonexistent: the large sliding glass doors weren't fully covered by the curtains, and people could see through the shower windows. They charged me for an extra month after I had canceled, taking R$9000 for nothing. Floripa is expensive, but this place isn't worth it.
