Hotel 50

Good.

Great.

Just okay.

The room alone made this one-night stay a very poor experience. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, so there was no privacy, and the old shower barely worked. The Wi-Fi password we were given didn't work at all. There was no shower enclosure, squeegee, bath mat, toilet paper, or trash bin in the bathroom, and the room had no blankets. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The old fan rattled loudly and seemed loose enough that I worried it might fall. Then my food was taken from the minibar without my permission. The breakfast was extremely poor too, with low-quality Tang-style powdered juice. The second staff member who helped us was curt and unprofessional, and the service overall fell short. I paid R$ 300,00 for the night, which made the condition of the place especially hard to accept. I've stayed in hotels for the same or less with much better facilities, comfort, and security. It was only one night, but a deeply negative experience I wouldn't repeat. I consider it unacceptable for a place in these conditions to keep operating and put guests in discomfort and at risk. I expect a formal response and appropriate action.
