The view and the place itself are beautiful, but the service was really poor. The pool was filthy, with even an animal in it, and its pump wasn’t working. We booked to leave at 8 pm, but they told us to check out at noon. Be very careful about that: when we made the reservation, they promised a lot of things that weren’t there. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The place is lovely, and I heard the neighboring pousada, called Bela vista, is wonderful. Mirante de minas gets a zero from me. I won’t be back.

The pousada has a pretty view, but it’s quite neglected. Getting there means driving along dirt roads, and it’s about 20 minutes from town by car. When I arrived, the owners disappeared without leaving a way to reach them, so I had to look them up on Google. The gardens were poorly kept, and the pool was full of sludge with a frog in it. The rooms and breakfast were reasonable. This place has potential if they put more into it, but my stay wasn’t very pleasant.

The scenery is lovely, but the service and breakfast were very bad. We ended up leaving early and losing two nights of our booking.
