Casa Da Didda

The garden outside has shade, and the shared kitchen is really practical. The room had good air conditioning, an electric shower, TV, and a comfortable double bed. The place feels warm and family-run, and the welcoming couple are friendly and helpful. They gave us great tips for getting around the island, places to eat, and things to do. It’s close to the airport and bus stop, everything worked well, and I’d recommend staying here.

The only things I liked were the pousada’s pleasant outdoor area and the friendly owners. The Tubarão room, though, is so tiny it doesn’t work for two people. There’s barely space for two people, you can’t have two suitcases open at once, and there isn’t enough clothing storage even for one person. The bathroom has issues too: the door won’t close and there are no hand towels. The TV seems to be there for show, since it has no channels. The location is far from everything. Praia do Sueste isn’t suitable for swimming, and it’s a 30-40 minute walk to Praia do Leão. There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. For something as basic as water, you either walk about five minutes to the bus stop or pay around 80 reais for a round-trip taxi.

At Didda’s, she and her family make a real difference with their kindness and friendly service. It’s quiet at night, has a shared kitchen if you’d rather prepare your own meals, and offers very good value for Noronha. I highly recommend it!

This was our second time at this pousada, and I plan to keep coming back. Didda, Bruno, Tieta, Antony, and the cats Teodoro and Teodora are all so caring and attentive. I love them!
