Casa Do Anjo

The central location made it easy to reach most parts of the island, and I’d happily stay here again. We were there for six nights and loved it. The place is simple, but the house and rooms were cleaned every day. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, and having a fridge and air conditioner in the room made the stay comfortable. The owners and staff were very friendly, and the hosts left fresh fruit on the communal table. Banana trees surround the property. There’s also a wash basin and clotheslines for rinsing sand and salt off clothes, which helped keep our room and things clean.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the place was lovely and well kept. It’s close to the town center, which makes getting around easier. Very good value for the money, and I had a wonderful stay. The one thing they could improve is the look of the pousada’s facade. I’ll definitely come back.

I loved staying here and felt right at home. Ângela welcomed us so warmly, and the omelet and tapioca were delicious. It’s a simple pousada with excellent value for the price.

The pousada was really peaceful, with no noise at all. The bed was great, the towels smelled fresh, and the pillows were excellent. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to make meals, so we didn’t have to spend as much on the island. A perfect stay, and I’ll definitely be back.
