The biggest difference was the hospitality from the hosts. Dona Ana and Wiliana were so friendly and helpful. Everything else was excellent too: very clean, comfortable beds, great air conditioning, a fridge that worked perfectly, and fresh towels and sheets. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Noronha.

This is a small, family-run place in a great location, with impeccable cleanliness and very good value. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the shower got hot. When I return to Ilha de Fernando de Noronha, I’ll stay at Pousada do Maneco again.

The location is ideal for exploring the island. It’s almost across from the Breakfast market and close to restaurants, a pharmacy, a bus stop, and routes to Praia do Cachorro and Praia do Meio. After a day out, it’s a comfortable place to sleep. The outdoor area is lovely, with tables, sofas, a shower to rinse off salt, a sink, a clothesline, and a well-equipped kitchen for guests. The room had cable TV, air conditioning, a minibar, a hair dryer, an electric shower, and a comfortable bed. Willi and Ana were especially warm and friendly, and the facilities were great. The price is excellent compared with what places on the island usually charge. Breakfast isn’t provided, and there’s no Wi-Fi. Neither was a problem for me, but adding those in a future upgrade could make the place perfect. I’ll definitely return.

I really enjoyed meeting Aninha, Seu Maneco, and Wiliana. They’re wonderful people and were so welcoming. The pousada delivers what it promises: the rooms are a good size, I stayed in a triple, the bed linen was new and spotless, and the rooms were cleaned daily. It’s right in the center of Noronha, in Vila dos Remédios, with a little market across the street where we bought food and drinks. There’s a minibar in the rooms, and guests can make breakfast in the kitchen, which has all the main utensils.
