The inn is well placed for getting around on foot. It’s a comfortable distance from the square at Vila dos Remédios, and we could walk to a supermarket, restaurants, a pharmacy, a bakery, and shops. After eight days in Fernando de Noronha, I’d gladly stay here again if I returned to the Ilha, as locals call it. Our room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with an excellent bed, pillows, and shower. The balcony had a table, chair, and clothesline that came in handy when we got back wet from outings. Simone made a different, delicious regional breakfast each day, including cooked plantain, yam, cassava, oatmeal porridge, and wonderful cuscuz with tatachi/tataxi. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Luci, greeted us with a warm hug. That welcome carried through the whole visit.

The inn is conveniently located near praça dos remédios, which is walkable, and there’s a small market close by. We felt very welcome thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and equipped, with air conditioning that worked especially well. They were cleaned daily, while sheets and towels were changed every three days. Breakfast was simple but made with care, and we ate well. We’d stay here again on another trip.

It was hard to say goodbye because I really did feel at home. The room was always clean and made up when we got back, and we felt warmly looked after by "amor" (Clovis), Luci, and all the staff. When we arrived, Luci explained how the inn worked and went over the rules, while also telling us to think of the place as home. She had a guideline about using phones at breakfast. I understood the idea, since chatting with other guests can help you share taxi costs or find fruit markets and tours. Of course, nobody has to leave their phone in the room. Thanks to everyone. We’ll definitely return.

Nothing beats the breakfast here: everything was carefully prepared, and the kitchen team will cook eggs however you like them, scrambled, boiled, or as an omelet. If, like me, you eat a lot of eggs in the morning, remember to buy your own! The team was excellent. The inn is simple but welcoming, and the rooms were nicely put together, with air conditioning, a good bed, and a good bathroom.
