Pousada Casa Flor

Thaci gave us a lovely welcome and was attentive and kind, with great tips on things to do around the island and places to eat. Our room was excellent, looked recently renovated, and everything was new, tidy, and working properly. The location is great, close to the center of Vila dos Remédios, with a bus stop right outside. We could get everywhere we needed on foot quite easily. Breakfast was excellent too. Thaci prepared everything fresh and was so careful and organized. We’re grateful for our time at the inn, and it was impressive how one person managed all the work while keeping everything at such a high standard. We’d stay there again if we visit the island. I’d seen comments about maintenance issues, but they seemed to have been resolved, since our room looked recently renovated. The shower was a little weak, though I think that may be due to the island’s infrastructure rather than the inn itself, as the fresh water comes from desalination.

We were warmly welcomed and treated well throughout our stay. The breakfast and the host were fantastic, and the location was great. Our room was clean and organized. A very positive experience.

The hostess was courteous, and the rooms were very clean. The inn is also in a great location. I missed having a full-length mirror, though, and there’s no breakfast option. They could offer it for an extra charge, perhaps as room service.

Mirella, the owner, was so kind and attentive, and Josi, who works there, was wonderful too. My mother, aunt, and I spent two nights here and loved it. Casa Flor is clean, simple, and cozy, with a great location and a very good breakfast. I highly recommend staying here. Congratulations, Mirella!
