Pousada Dois Irmãos

Everything we needed was close by: a bakery, outdoor gym, bus stop, market, laundry, and Vila dos Remédios, about a five-minute walk away. Deise and Jr were great, really attentive and full of useful island tips. The breakfast had coffee, powdered milk, juice, bread and cold cuts, a simple but tasty cake, seasonal fruit, and local petit fours. The condensed milk tart was especially good. Tapioca and scrambled or fried eggs were included and made to order. The inn is simple but unusually comfortable. We stayed eight days and would happily come back. If you want some peace and quiet, this is a good fit. This is an economy-level stay, so I’m not comparing it with five-star hotels or inns.

The service was poor and communication was terrible. We had just one very old towel, no soap, barely any toilet paper, and no blanket on the bed. The air conditioner was noisy, and the stay wasn't worth the price.

The location was excellent, and the inn felt cared for. Deise is always making improvements, which you can see. The cats may bother some people, but we’re in Noronha, where there aren’t walls around everything. What should they do, kill the animals? Deise explained the situation, and they’ve now enclosed the breakfast area and added air conditioning, so guests don’t come into contact with the cats. We really enjoyed our stay. Deise and Rafaela were lovely and friendly, and we felt very welcome during our three nights. The inn is simple, but it had what we needed, and the price is great for Fernando de Noronha. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough: Rafa made tapioca and scrambled eggs, and there was also couscous, cake, lemon tart, breads, cheese bread, cheese, ham, juices, and fresh fruit. Things cost more and are harder to get on the island, so that context matters when judging breakfast. If you want a mainland hotel-style spread, Pousada Maria Bonita costs 2,000 a night. Some people lose perspective with low ratings when they want to pay little and get five-star hotel service. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Noronha. It feels good to support people who do their work with care and a smile. ❤️

Since we only needed a place to sleep while visiting Noronha, the price made sense for us. The inn is quite basic. Our bathroom had a glass door with the toilet directly facing it, which felt odd at first. Breakfast was moderately varied. One day there was no couscous, but there were always sweets, bread, and juice, and the kitchen also made tapioca and eggs.
