Beach House Floripa Pousada

We only stayed two nights, so it was acceptable. There were four of us, but the rooms were small and we didn't have enough space for all our belongings. Breakfast was very meager. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly and the location was great. The parking is just an uncovered vacant lot beside the inn.

The beach is nearby, which is one positive. The rest was frustrating. There was rarely anyone at the property, and no one was at reception when we arrived. The cleaning was awful: we had to ask for the room to be cleaned every day, and the towels were never changed. The pool hadn't been cleaned in a long time and was cloudy. The jacuzzi was always dirty, and they only turned it on when someone was using it, switching it off as soon as they left. The owner hardly ever showed up and always cut corners when possible. Breakfast was poor, with coffee and food running out right at the start. The parking lot closes early, so you can't get in or out by car between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

There’s great local shopping nearby, and everything you need is close at hand. The inn is practically right on the sand and very well located. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was very good, and everyone was attentive and helpful. Our stay was perfect. I highly recommend it.

The inn has good facilities and the rooms are good. It's close to the beach and the center of Canasvieiras, with markets, restaurants, and coffee shops all within walking distance. But cleaning fell short. Over six nights, I had to ask for the room to be cleaned. It only "happened" on day four, and that "cleaning" amounted to spraying disinfectant in the toilet. The towels and bathroom mat weren't changed, and the toilet paper wasn't restocked. I asked for cleaning again the next day, then ended up buying toilet paper at the market because I didn't want to keep asking reception for it. Breakfast had little variety and was the same every day. The jacuzzi and pool also seemed poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. The jacuzzi always had beach sand in it, and the pool water was very cloudy.
