Hostel De La Paz

A cozy little hostel with friendly staff, and great value for the money.

The service was awful. I nearly missed my flight because nobody was at reception when I left. The owner is strange: he quoted one price at check-in, then wanted to charge more than we'd agreed shortly before I left. Other bizarre things happened during my last stay here, too. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Edit 1: The hostel owner came after me for posting this review. That gives you an idea of what he's like, and by extension, the place.

For such an affordable nightly rate, this hostel surprised me. It's in an old building with a beautiful facade and a cozy feel inside. The furniture is good quality, and the place is generally clean and well organized. The neighborhood is quiet, and it feels safe. My only complaints are that the tap water gets very cold in winter and that visitors aren't allowed.

A nice, peaceful, cozy hostel, with an excellent rate and location. The host is friendly and easygoing. The one thing that let it down was the fridge: every time I went into the kitchen and opened it, there was a really strong, unpleasant smell. Just a small issue, though. Aside from that, I highly recommend it!
