Hotel Praiatur

The location is a real plus, with the sea under five minutes away, along with supermarkets and pharmacies. The fruit market takes about 10 minutes to reach, McDonald's is three minutes away, and there are lots of cafes and shops for tourists nearby. I gave it three stars for the tasty breakfasts and lovely reception area, but the rest left a lot to be desired. The rooms are large, though there's nowhere to dry laundry. The shower extractor didn't work, so the room smelled damp all the time. Cleaning was mediocre, and towels were changed only if we asked. Our shower kept dripping, and after we told staff four times, the receptionist came and just tightened the door. It still wouldn't close, and the water kept dripping.

The hotel and rooms were spotless, and the towels and bed linens smelled lovely. Breakfast was very good, too. The reception staff were courteous and helpful, which made for a great stay.

We visited with friends at the end of November 2025 and were warmly welcomed. Our room wasn't ready yet, as check-in is at 14:00, but they let us store our bags. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well kept, which is unusual. The newer air conditioners worked well and made no noise. Our room stayed cool since it didn't get direct sun. Rooms are cleaned every other day, though we could get fresh towels daily. Breakfast was good and fair for what was offered, with different cake flavors each day as well as bread options. The staff were cordial, and the cleanliness deserves a 10. I don't have photos, but the hotel matches what it shows on social media 100%. I'd highly recommend it.

We arrived late on a trip to Praia dos Ingleses more than a year ago, during my husband's vacation, and were settled in very well. Everything about the service was excellent, including the room service, and I'd stay again and recommend it to friends and family. The breakfast was well stocked, with a good, hearty selection of sweet and savory foods and drinks. The rooms were clean, the towels were fresh, the bed linen smelled nice, and the shower was great. Everything was just right.
