The location and free parking were the only good points. Check-in was scheduled for 14:00, already later than at many nearby places, but we still waited until 15:30 to get into the room. Other groups were also stuck waiting at reception without answers for over an hour. The rooms had no sheets or towels and weren’t tidy. Getting hold of reception was slow, and staff were often unavailable. One day a woman sat at the front desk all day, said she didn’t work there, and was rude to us; there were hardly any other workers around for most of the day. The Airbnb and Booking photos use heavy filters and don’t show how untidy or unclean the rooms are. Things looked okay at first, but we soon found dirt under the beds and furniture, and behind the toilets. Wi-Fi was slow, and practically useless on the balconies and in the bathrooms. Places like this may get bookings because of the accessible location, but the hospitality, furnishings, and service quality weren’t the reason to stay.
