Pat was so kind, and the four dogs made the stay for me. They were always happy to see me and ready for cuddles! The whole place feels welcoming the moment you walk in, like a cozy home. Rooms are spacious, with large lockers, comfy beds, USB ports in the walls, and big bathrooms with great showers and plenty of bench space. The kitchen is easy to cook in, and breakfast is amazing. I'd highly recommend it, especially for a longer stay 🥰

The rooftop at sunset was beautiful, and there are cute hammocks to lounge in. It's close to the beach and the center. The kitchen is fully equipped, everyone on staff was friendly, and breakfast works well for different diets, including vegetarian. I miss the three lovely dogs, too. I got stuck in Floripa when roadblocks were set up because of the elections, and was glad to return here until the roads opened. They really looked after me. The positive reviews I'd read beforehand were right. Best homestay in South America for me (:

The guests and volunteers were lovely. My mixed dorm had just four beds, and it was really comfortable, with a good curtain around the bed and plenty of storage.
