The location was the one good thing. From the 14th to the 20th, we couldn’t get comfortable on the tiny double bed, which had a crooked leg and creaked terribly. We told Hugo and asked to switch rooms, but that wasn’t possible. He said he’d give us a discount at checkout, supposedly to make up for it. Instead, on our departure day he told us at 10:20 that we had to leave at 11:00 AM. We put up with all the discomfort, so why promise compensation? The bed was literally indecent for a relaxing vacation, the sheets were too small for it, and the pillows were tiny and flat. The hot water works, but the system is very unreliable. I’ve included photos. Breakfast was basic, with dry, inedible eggs that people take out and leave on the table. The woman said she was following her boss’s orders. The TV is ancient, so you can’t watch Netflix. They also wouldn’t let us check out early, even though that was supposed to be the compensation for the bed.

After a 15-hour trip, I wasn’t allowed into the room until I paid immediately, and I had to go find change before I could even shower. On previous visits, they showed you to your room and gave you a day to get the right change. I’m very disappointed compared to those experiences. The hospitality and friendliness are gone, and it’s clear there are new owners. The room was rundown, with a small, poor-quality double bed. My reservation was charged at R$380, but now that I’m here I can see much cheaper options with better quality and excellent breakfasts. The breakfast here was very poor, with little variety compared with what we know as a Brazilian breakfast. I was given a room on the second floor with no elevator.

We came back for the second year in a row, but the service had dropped a lot since last year. Breakfast was especially poor. With fewer guests, they made less food and didn’t replenish it. Breakfast is supposed to run from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, or until they run out, apparently. We went down at 9:15 am and the scrambled eggs, cheese bread, yogurt, and other fruit still hadn’t been replenished. We regret how much the quality of service declined in just one year.

They provide chairs and an umbrella for free, and the service is good. The apartment in Ingleses is close to the beach and town center, with clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Breakfast is quite comprehensive.
