The view was nice and the bed was comfortable, but the room smelled bad. It felt old fashioned, there’s no lift, and it’s expensive for what you get.

The view was wonderful, and the location worked well for us because we had a car. There’s also public transport on the inn’s street. The staff were polite, the room’s kitchenette was useful, and the bathtub worked well. I stayed in the air-conditioned suite with my wife for 10 days. When we arrived, there were some bugs behind the curtain and a lot in the hall. We understood there was nature all around, but after the room was cleaned the next day, most of them were gone. A few days later there were none in the hall, after it had been cleaned. So it seemed like neglect. The light above the table had a loose connection, and the fan made noise when switched on but wouldn’t run. We told reception, but they didn’t write down the complaints or pass them to maintenance. When nothing had been done the next day, we told the afternoon receptionist. Maintenance apparently got the message, since all the lights and the fan were switched on when we got back. But they only worked from the switch, and the fan still didn’t run; the light above the table was still faulty. Whatever they did, it only worked at that moment and didn’t fix the problems. We were left without a working fan and with the bad light connection. The furniture was very old, some doors didn’t close properly and made a lot of noise, and the blackout curtains were torn at the bottom. None of that got in the way too much. The road up to the inn is very steep, so it’s good to have a car in decent shape. Towels are changed every 3 days, but one of ours still had stains after the change. We also had an issue with breakfast. Reception didn’t tell us that breakfast would end much earlier on a certain day, so when we arrived we couldn’t let them know we didn’t want it. They brought breakfast at 8h30, on a day when we wanted to sleep in. I wouldn’t return. Those small hassles weren’t worth the price.
