We spent one night at the inn, and it wasn’t a pleasant stay. Our kitchenette room had serious cleanliness and upkeep problems, and the mold smell was unbearable. The kitchen utensils and mini fridge were old and in terrible shape, and construction was underway at the property. What bothered us most was the owner’s lack of care and attention. With the hygiene and maintenance issues, plus that lack of attention, we can’t recommend it. The value for the money was zero.

The location is great, but the room needs a lot of work. We spent one night in Maui, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The mattress was bad, the bathroom was dark, and the insect net was badly torn. There were gaps where the wood met the walls, so it felt like bugs could get in at any moment. The room next door, Lanai, had been renovated and looked lovely.
