There was lots of greenery, plants, and trees, and the views were lovely. The place was comfortable, the service was good, and all the owners were very kind. The workers did a good job with the rooms. The location wasn't good, though. Getting there from the town of Praia Brava or from Lagoinha means walking along a difficult road.

The main receptionist is a cat, so if you don't like cats, this probably isn't the place for you. If you do, you'll have furry company all day and sleeping companions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was big and comfortable. There isn't daily room cleaning, only cleaning when you arrive. Like elsewhere in Floripa, there are steep hills, and the stairs are a bit hard to climb. Still, it's a beautiful hotel with an amazing view and atmosphere, surrounded by nature. Highly recommended apart from that.

For far the best place in Florianópolis. It felt like a five-star stay without the high price, around 80 euros a night with an open buffet breakfast included. The owners run it themselves, and the whole place is really relaxing. I totally recommend it.

Praia Brava is easy to get to, and it's one of the most beautiful beaches in Florianopolis. The stay itself was great too: Pousada Villabela Villagio sits among nature, with excellent rooms, spotless white bed linens, a delicious breakfast, and a friendly, very capable team.

There's just one restaurant beside the pousada, so for more choice you'll need to go into town, which is a bit far. I'd recommend renting a car, though Uber is cheap enough if you don't drive. We used Uber for at least three days. The pousada itself was very good, and we'll definitely return someday.
