Residencial Simas

We had the most peaceful vacation, and I’m heading home happy with how enjoyable it was. It was our first visit, but I’d gladly come back and recommend the place to anyone who asks. The residence felt pleasant and secure, especially with the other houses on site. The owners were always available, attentive, and ready to help whenever we needed something. They were often around cleaning, looking after the place, and keeping everything in order. It’s one block from the sea, so I left my car in the garage the whole time. There’s enclosed parking, a pool, and a barbecue for everyone to use. For me, the standout was the barbecue beside the pool. I truly had such a quiet and relaxing vacation.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The house was worn, and its layout didn’t match the photos in the listing. We also weren’t told that the bathroom was outside the main house, or that one bedroom had no door, which made it uncomfortable and took away privacy. The stove didn’t work, so cooking was difficult. There were 9 other rental houses in the village, something we hadn’t been informed about and that affected the privacy we expected. The owner put up signs limiting use of the air conditioning and lights, restrictions that weren’t in the listing, and spoke to us rudely. He was disrespectful and verbally insulted us without justification. The whole experience was very negative and didn’t match what the listing promised. I’d advise caution when considering this property.

Zenir was a wonderful host, always friendly and attentive. The residence was very clean and in a great location, with easy access and parking available. We also had complete freedom to use the complex at any time, 24/7, without restrictions. We’ll definitely stay again.

This is our second visit, and the beach is only a block and a half away. The place has everything we need, including a pool where you can stay late as long as you respect the noise rules, and a barbecue for an essential cookout.
