You can cross to the continental side on foot or by bike using the pedestrian lane. From the bridge, the views across both sides of the city are lovely, making this an interesting spot to visit in Florianopolis.

The bridge is quite a structure, and the view from it is even better. There’s a dedicated lane for walking and cycling, so you can get across safely. Definitely worth seeing in Florianópolis.

On Sundays, the famous Hercilio Luz bridge is closed to cars, so you can walk along it.
