I arrived for Réveillon on the 30th, and the apartment’s front door was rotten and lying on the floor. A man was trying to fix it, but he’d already said it wouldn’t be ready. This is outrageous, and I can’t get anyone to answer me or cancel the reservation. Please, don’t book this flat. I’m having a terrible time with the company.

The location really is very good, but the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. We booked four nights, and the cleaning was extremely superficial. The bathroom mat was never changed despite asking, and we had the same towels throughout our stay. Even when something unexpected came up, as it did, and we needed a floor cloth, there was no help available. The floor was covered in dirt the whole time despite the “cleaning.” And if you sleep on the living room sofa bed, be ready to be tormented by the sink that keeps dripping.

Everything in the accommodation was air-conditioned, and it’s close to Beira-mar, a pharmacy, and a supermarket. The place felt brand new, with new furniture, and it was an excellent experience.
