Carol and Márcio made us feel so welcome, and we loved our stay at their beautiful Picollo Bambino Suítes Ilhabela. From the location and room to the food and their warm hospitality, everything was just right. Márcio is a chef, and his breakfasts were ridiculously delicious. We're both vegans, and Carol arranged soymilk while Márcio adapted breakfast for us. Whenever we needed a hand, Carol was there, whether it was finding an adapter for our blow dryer, a corkscrew and two wine glasses, or a way to keep supermarket ice cream cold. Thanks so much to both of you. We wish you all the best and lots of success on Ilhabela. We'll definitely return and recommend your place to our family and friends. Laís and Philippe

We were very unhappy with the service. The breakfast was basically reheated bread with jam, butter, and cream cheese in a little pot. You had to ask for juice or milk, and the scrambled eggs were black. The dogs kept jumping up for food while we were eating. I like pets, just not when I'm having a meal. There wasn't really parking, just a steep bank where you could slip or fall. We had to open and close the gate ourselves. The owners didn't seem bothered to help, even when it was raining or we had an elderly person with us. There were cobwebs on the bedroom windows, and the minibar seal had been moldy for a long time. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, didn't cool properly, and made a noise when it switched on. The TV screen was smaller than a cellphone, and connecting to it took ages. The yard was neglected, and the pool was green with dirt. On Sunday they didn't make the beds or change the bath towels. It seemed like they had built rooms behind their own house just to make money. I wouldn't recommend this inn to anyone. You'll regret going and waste your money.

We rented the suite for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was in a very quiet, private spot inside what seemed like a condominium. The room was spacious, with a lovely, roomy bathroom too. Breakfast with Brad and Angelina, the owners' little dogs, was a treat.

We stayed in a room with a sea view and had lots of space, spotless cleaning, and a breakfast well worth having. Our little dog loved the space and spending time with Brad and Angelina, the hosts' pets, and Angelina is the sweetest dog on the planet! On certain nights the place also has a bistro, and we had a fantastic food experience there. Carol and Márcio were attentive throughout our stay.
