Breakfast was one of the best I've had while traveling, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, including a small fridge, AC and TV, and was comfortable. A great find.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were included and delicious. By the end, I felt the hotel was clean and safe, even though my arrival left me uneasy. It was very late, dark outside, and surrounded by vacant lots; the dim interior and pitch black hallway made it feel like an abandoned hotel in a horror movie. Motion sensor lights do come on as you approach, which saves electricity but didn't make the place feel welcoming. The front desk person was pleasant when I checked in. There’s no elevator, and reaching the fourth floor meant going up four or five huge ramps, which could be difficult for older guests. My room lights wouldn’t work at first, so I went back downstairs for help. I learned you have to put your room card in a slot to turn on the electricity, something I’d never seen in the USA. The shower also confused me. It had four knobs, and while I was trying to get hot water, I accidentally shut off all the water to the room. I later learned two of the knobs control water for the whole room. I couldn’t tell if the walls were thin or the guests were especially loud, but noise from the pool and inside the hotel carried into my room. The TV and wifi reception weren’t great either. I didn’t explore nearby because there didn’t seem to be much to do, and I wasn’t sure how safe it was.

The room was a good size, and breakfast was very good, though it only starts at 7 AM. It’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions.

The room was clean, comfortable and good. The staff are polite, but could do better. The building is old and feels partly abandoned.
