Hotel Place Jardin

The room noise made it impossible to get proper rest during our three nights, so I wouldn’t return or recommend this place to families. You can hear everything from the corridor and neighboring rooms. On the first night, after traveling all day, I was exhausted, but from midnight onward another guest made a huge racket, with loud banging from a wooden headboard and his companion screaming. It felt like being in a brothel or a motel full of rude people. Reception notified room 305, but that didn’t help. They started making a scene again at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. The following night, two women arrived at 3 a.m., on a Saturday, I assume from a party. Their heels clattered in the corridor, and they talked loudly both there and in the room. I woke up and couldn’t sleep while one of them kept talking. Reception promptly notified them after I complained at 4 a.m. The next night was the least bad, but two men talking loudly in the corridor woke me at 6:15. The cleaning, breakfast, and location were very good, but the place just wasn’t restful. They need to improve the soundproofing, remove that wooden headboard that guests bang against while making noise, and screen guests better by restricting couples arriving late to party.

The building feels new, the rooms are clean and cozy, and breakfast was delicious. Reception service was great too. I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

I loved staying here and will definitely come back. Everything was tidy and very clean, the hotel looked lovely, and the rooms were cozy and really comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices and everything tasted great. Everyone at reception was attentive and polite.

The rooms and bathrooms were in great shape, the bedding was really good, and breakfast was very complete. The hotel also seemed quite new. Excellent.
