The location is perfect, but the rest of the place feels a bit run-down, and the staff could be more personal. We stayed three nights, and the mattresses need replacing. You could already feel the wooden slats in the bed frame. Breakfast was nowhere near what the photos showed. If you’re into sliced bread, there are three brands to choose from.

We stayed for a week and felt right at home. It’s a simple place with great service, one of the best stays we’ve had.

At 1 p.m. today, October 11, 2025, I went to Pousada Charle Brown to check in. The woman at reception left me waiting for over ten minutes while she helped other customers with kitchen services. When I asked if she could finally assist me, she said, “If you’re in a hurry, you’d better find another inn.” I left right away. The service gets a zero from me. They don’t know how to welcome customers with professionalism or respect. I won’t be back. A real shame.

The place looks really nice, but the pet policy is unclear. We were lucky to check before confirming our booking, since neither WhatsApp nor Booking.com mentioned that pets are allowed only up to a certain size.

We had a great five-day stay. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful, breakfast was quite complete, and there was air conditioning in the room.
