It’s a good option if you want to stay close to Garopaba’s main sights without being in the middle of the traffic and bustle. The ocean and main shopping strip are a 5-10 minute walk away, and the inn is conveniently tucked off the main drag. There’s off-street guest parking, an outdoor pool, hammocks, and breakfast each morning. Rooms have air conditioning, a TV, and a mini fridge, though not many outlets for devices. The internet works well, but guests are asked not to download games, movies, and similar things. Staff are incredibly friendly, and the family-owned place has a real community feel. I didn’t pay for the stay myself, so I don’t know the cost, but my host said it was reasonable. I recommend it.

The reception staff were polite, and breakfast was reasonable, but I can’t recommend this place. The inn was clean, though very basic, and the rooms need maintenance. The outlets were far from the bedside, the TV was 14 inches with only local channels, and I had to call reception about a face towel holder that was falling off. They fixed it later. The pool was awful, extremely dirty, greasy, and full of debris, so it couldn’t be used. The owner didn’t say much. In response to the inn, I didn’t take photos of the pool, but earlier reviews mention the same issue, so this wasn’t the first time it had been raised. I never complained about the curtains; that was a misinterpretation. To be clear, one window faces the hallway where guests walk by and could even come in through it. That meant we had to keep it shut, which stopped air from circulating. My request wasn’t handled, which may be why I posted a review. It’s truthful, and if they’d dealt with it, I probably wouldn’t have posted. Other guests noticed it themselves too.

The rooms were kept tidy and cleaned every day, and the accommodation felt cozy. There were also some really good breakfast options. An excellent inn.
