We loved discovering this beautiful, well-kept place. Julie looked after us really well. Since the inn is up a hill, the walk back from the beach can be tiring, so I recommend driving there.

Pouso do Tapeceiro is a special retreat in beautiful Gamboa, a place where we can slow down, rest, and enjoy nature. We’re always warmly welcomed when we come with friends and family. The accommodations are great, and markets, restaurants, and the beach are nearby. Garopaba is less than 30 minutes away by car. The property is perfect for relaxing, and there are all kinds of things for children to discover and enjoy. Thanks for another lovely memory. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked Pouso through Airbnb for a holiday weekend and had three wonderful days of peace and rest. The place is beautiful, and nearby Gamboa beach is lovely too, so together they made the whole experience even better. Our host was attentive and thoughtful, while always giving us space, and added little touches of care throughout. We loved it and hope to return very soon.

There’s an ocean view from the hillside, plus a pool and even a washing machine. The road up is pretty steep, though any car can make it. The place is beautiful and very quiet, and the service was excellent. We had a great time and got lots of rest. If you’re heading to Gambo, stay here.
