Castro's Park Hotel

The team at Castro's Park made me feel special from the moment I arrived. The man who opened the car doors, the front desk staff, and the restaurant IPÉ staff all greeted me with smiles. Everyone was helpful and understanding. Thank you!

The staff were great and the food was good, but the hotel itself was a huge letdown for the price and its five-star rating. My two-night stay had uncomfortable beds, a toilet that barely flushed, and a shower head that sprayed like a garden hose. Half the light switches didn't work either. And I still don't understand why there are bidets, they seem so unhygienic. It doesn't live up to the hype or feel worthy of five stars. If you're visiting from out of town, I'd look for somewhere else to spend your money.

It's an older hotel, but staying there with our one-year-old went smoothly. They even have a baby feeding and nursing room and a kids' playroom, which made the amenities worth it for us. The staff were kind and helpful, the restaurant food was great, and the waiter at the pool bar had so much energy.

There were five of us staying in three rooms, and we had a really bad experience. My English friend left an expensive Christian Dior jacket in his wardrobe. When he realized the next day that it was missing, the hotel said they hadn't found it. He hadn't taken it anywhere else, so he believed it was still in the hotel. I wouldn't trust this place and don't recommend it.
