The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. The chalet was one of the most pleasant places I’ve stayed, with a cozy room and everything clean and organized. The whole inn is lovely, peaceful, and beautifully kept, with a pretty waterfall. Vitor and Paola were exceptional hosts, attentive and always ready to help. It was a pleasure meeting them. Thanks for all the care and warm welcome. I’ll definitely come back.

I loved it so much and already want to return as soon as possible. The sound of the stream at night was wonderful, and the town and the view along the way were surreal. Vitor and Paola are an amazing young couple who treated us so well, with warmth and good manners. The inn was perfect, clean, and smelled lovely, and the breakfast was wonderful. Feeling grateful!

We had a lovely weekend. The chalet and bedding were extremely clean, and Vitor and Paola were attentive and available whenever we needed them. The inn is in a great location, easy to reach and very peaceful. There are good restaurants and a fun brewery on the road leading there.

We brought our dogs along, and they loved it. Som das Águas is pet-friendly, with a small waterfall on the property where you can cool off. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, there are only a few chalets, and ours was clean with lovely views and lots of privacy. Diana, the housekeeper and inn employee, was so friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of useful tips for our first visit to Gonçalves. Breakfast was fantastic, all fresh and well prepared. The cold-cut bread and jams were standouts. It’s close to the center of Gonçalves as well as well-known restaurants and breweries in the area. Most stretches of road are dirt, so expect dust and a dirty car. Getting to the inn itself is easy. If you’re coming from São Paulo like I was, set Gonçalves MG as your map destination first, then look up the inn once you reach town. That way you avoid a long stretch of dirt road. Five stars for everything!

The chalets are cozy and beautiful, the air is fresh, and there’s greenery everywhere. It’s so peaceful, with a lovely climate and everything clean. The only sounds are the “sound of the waters” and the birds. The drive is easy, with some paved sections and the dirt road causing no trouble. Victor and Paola served us a spectacular breakfast, including strawberry jam made right there. They were always ready to help and shared useful information about the area and region. The internet worked well, there was cable TV, and it’s pet-friendly. One of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. I’ll definitely return.
