Hospedaria Caminho da Roça

The room stayed nice and warm, so we didn’t notice the cold outside. Check-in is self-service and very easy, and the host is very attentive. There are four apartments in all, about 7 km from central Gonçalves and close to 3 orelhas brewery. Across the street, there’s a snack bar and a small market with a wide variety of goods, including local products, and downstairs there’s a place for snacks. The room was exactly as described: spacious, very clean, with a comfortable bed and soft, good-quality linens. Daily cleaning and towel changes are available if needed. The bathroom is a good size, and the shower gets very hot. My room had a table, chairs, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, tea, salt, and complimentary sugar. Guests can also use a shared microwave.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, clean, and had new bed and bath linens. There’s also a nice breakfast option downstairs, run by the Mercearia 3 Orelhas staff, with quality products and friendly, courteous service. The drive through the mountains to Hospedaria was lovely, as was the view from the balcony facing the little church and mountains. It had everything I was looking for to relax.

The room was cozy, comfortable, bright, and well ventilated. The shower heated up well, and having a minibar was a real help for us with a child. João sent all the information we needed during booking, including details about the stay and tips for outings and restaurants. I also got to meet him in person and appreciated his politeness and hospitality. I’d recommend the place to everyone and would definitely stay again.
