Mirante Café Pousada

The breakfast was wonderful, and the service was fantastic. The pousada is beautiful and really comfortable, with a perfect view that makes it easy to relax. It's also close to the starts of major trails, including the cachoeira da fumaça. The village of Capão is about 1 km away. You can walk, though the dirt road makes getting a motoboy a better option. Everyone should come here sometime. I know I'll keep coming back!

We meant to stay four nights at mirante café, but ended up adding five more. It's perched in a privileged spot in the vale do capão, high enough to look out over the whole valley. Sunrise and sunset there are uniquely beautiful. The whole team was so welcoming and friendly, and we definitely hope to return.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the place is lovely, with lots of charming, well-lit spaces. There's parking, and a special breakfast can be arranged. I only have good things to say about the atmosphere. It's worth booking outings with local guides who know the area so well. And don't miss the natural yogurt and strawberry juice!

We arrived at night without warning, a bit lost, just as the pousada was closing for vacation. They still welcomed us with incredible warmth. Everyone in the Capão area was wonderful, but we couldn't have landed somewhere more inviting. Our hosts, Cátia and Rodrigo, are such good people, and they never let you down.
