After a long hike, we arrived exhausted, and our host Fabio made the stay even better by upgrading us to a room for free because it was low season. The mountain view from the room was incredible. Fabio speaks English perfectly and was there whenever we needed him. He even helped us order dinner and had it brought to the hotel. Breakfast was overwhelming in the best way, with everything we wanted and more, plus another beautiful mountain view. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The inn has a lovely mountain view and is about three minutes by car from the centre. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. One thing to watch out for: don’t follow the GPS, because an earlier turn takes you onto a dirt road that’s almost impossible to drive. There are signs pointing to the inn along the way, and local people can help with directions too.

We booked an economy room, which was still spacious and clean, so the value for money was excellent. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were great. Gabriel deserves a special mention: he was consistently helpful and professional, and made everything run smoothly.

The standard suite was very clean and tidy, with toiletries and fresh bed and bath linens. Breakfast was excellent too. I had a great stay in Vie do Capão and would recommend it without hesitation. The value for money is really good.
