Pousada Requinte

Nothing fancy, but it was good.

I was there for work, so I hadn't chosen the place myself, and honestly I didn't enjoy it. The rusty minibar didn't work, there was dust everywhere, and the sink was out of order. One downstairs room had what looked like an ancient Egyptian tomb where Pharaoh Ramses ll was buried; another had a kitchen sink right above the bed. A real madhouse, lol. Maybe it'd do if all you want is to visit the beach and sleep, but it's not for everyone. The place needs a proper renovation if it's going to earn more stars.

The staff were excellent, and the inn partly met what I needed: a decent shower and a chance to rest after work. Still, I didn't think it was good value. There's no parking or breakfast, and the suite is very basic. I've stayed in cheaper places that offered a lot more, though I'd still recommend it.

The convent view is lovely, and the location is close to the beach, but the price doesn't feel justified. The apartment also gets noise from traffic leaving the bridge. During my five-night stay, the internet never worked, and complaining didn't help. The mattress was awful, the bathroom sink tap barely ran, the toilet seat was broken, and there was nowhere to put soap or shampoo in the shower. I wouldn't recommend it.
