4/10
My biggest letdown was finding the towels folded into plain rectangles when the website showed them arranged like swans. The floors were very dirty, and the bathroom felt cramped. Breakfast had a great selection, apart from the terrible cheese I tried. I’d been looking forward for months to tasting Brazilian cheese for the first time, so that left me disappointed. I loved Minas Gerais, but if I come back, I hope I find somewhere with more acceptable living conditions.

The room was simple but comfortable, and the staff were really kind and attentive. My schedule meant I didn’t get a chance to try breakfast.

The staff were genuinely pleasant, and the café has had a recent upgrade, which helps make the price rise easier to accept. Still, it feels a bit expensive for what you get.

The air conditioning was great, and breakfast was nice. It’s a simple hotel, but very clean and pleasant.

The service and breakfast were fine, though the bathroom could use more space.
