The guesthouse itself is cozy and has good facilities, but my stay was awful. There were too few staff to provide the support guests needed. I only saw anyone from the inn at breakfast, and after that you were on your own. My room door wouldn’t lock from the inside. I eventually managed to contact someone, but they didn’t fix it. We also ran out of hot water. The internet was down every day I stayed, and although there was a TV in the room, it didn’t get any channels. They didn’t replenish the toilet paper, change the towels, or clean the room. It felt like they handed me a key on arrival and expected me to fend for myself until checkout. I don’t recommend it.

I was disappointed by how it went. The inn seemed abandoned, and one of the bedroom walls had a huge damp patch. Breakfast also seemed to be made from leftovers from the day before. The worst part was arriving late on 04/12 after telling them we’d be late. The person I spoke with said that was fine, but nobody was there to receive us. I called the number that was supposed to be available 24 hours and got no answer. We had to spend the night at another hotel and pay for it, with no refund. The next day, someone replied that they’d left a note on the door saying the key was at the room door. How was I supposed to know there was a side door where I’d find that note? The three employees I saw at the inn were all polite and helpful, and seemed to be doing the best they could with what they had.
