The setting of the inn is lovely, the service was very good, and breakfast was tasty in a cozy dining area. But our room spoiled the stay. It was beside the dining room downstairs and had mold on the ceiling, with a strong smell of product used to cover it up. There was also a lot of noise from upstairs starting around 11:30 at night and continuing into the morning, so we didn’t get a peaceful night’s sleep or the rest we expected.

The breakfast from dona Walkíria and dona Gertrudes was a whole feast. I joked that the inn should include a spa voucher too, because I came back a few kilos heavier and know exactly who to blame, haha. Gabriel and Rafael were so sweet from start to finish, and seu Waltecir, lovingly called the chainsaw man, was incredibly friendly and polite. Everyone else who looked after us and whose names I can’t remember, consider yourselves hugged. I’m so grateful. We spent five days at this wonderful inn in Gramado, and it was enchanting. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place, spotlessly clean, and the welcome felt so genuine, like being at grandma’s house and part of the family. Gramado is so beautiful I could write for hours and still not do it justice. I’ll be back as soon as I can, and of course I’ll stay at this inn again. It won my heart. ❤️
