Palace Hotel Guaira

We stopped in Guaíra for one night on our way to SC. The hot shower and breakfast were the highlights, and it was great value for the money. Even though we arrived close to 4 a.m., the receptionist welcomed us warmly, helped us park, and walked us to our room. I forgot his name, but this was at 4 a.m. on May 23, 2026. The bed was really comfortable, and the blankets were clean and had no smell. There was a cigarette smell in the room, though we think another guest may have ignored the rules for being considerate. Great value overall.

The breakfast had lots of options and was wonderful, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. It felt like a safe, reliable place to stay. There are snack bars, restaurants, little bars, banks, and an ice cream shop nearby. It’s also close to the road out toward Salto de Guaíra, with a detour that goes to the bridge and lets you skip the line of cars. Great value for what you get.

The staff were really kind, and the service was great. The hotel is comfortable, well located, and has a full breakfast at a fair price. There’s no elevator or covered parking, but that’s a small thing for us. We’ll definitely come back.

The staff were nice, and breakfast was pretty standard. I stayed in room 16, and I wouldn’t recommend taking it. The air conditioner kept wetting the floor beneath it, so I had to dry it several times. The window let in a lot of light, outside noise was bothersome enough to feel like people were talking in the room, and the bathroom window wouldn’t close because its latch was broken. I can’t speak for every room, of course. The hotel coordinators on Booking’s site led me to another place.
