Dom Fernando Hotel Guarujá

We arrived on 22/06/24 and Daniela looked after us well. Everything was great, from breakfast to the room for five, which looked like the photos. The place is 3) meters from the beach and close to the night street fair. We really enjoyed it and will return.

The location is wonderful, and I'll come back, just not to the same room. The room was cozy, but there's a cold room next to rooms 1 and 2 that makes a huge noise, so don't stay in those if you're sensitive to noise when sleeping. Breakfast was generous, and I stayed two days. My room listing said there was no room service or towel and bed linen changes, but for the daily rate I think there should be. The woman serving breakfast was very helpful. The afternoon staff member, though, was so grumpy that it felt like I was there on a favor.

The price for my booking was really good, the room was clean, and the attendants were very friendly. It had air conditioning and a minibar, and I could use the kitchen with its stove, microwave, fridge, and utensils. The location is wonderful, with private parking so you can leave the car and get around on foot. I'll definitely return and highly recommend it. I booked through the Booking app, which said breakfast was included, but when I arrived it was no longer available.

The best parts were the location and one staff member who welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was very basic for the price, and the women serving it seemed grumpy and closed off. The front desk staff also made us feel as if we were imposing by staying there. Our room had a faulty toilet and a terrible shower, and the indoor environment felt too basic for R$380 a night. It was the simplest pousada I’ve stayed in in Guarujá. In the middle of the night an alarm went off, sounding like a tsunami warning. It kept going for about 40 minutes, and nobody seemed to know how to shut it off. We left at 10:30 on Sunday morning.
