I spent three days there, and the bedding was changed just once. The bedspread on the single bed was all bunched up, and the bathroom stall and even the elevators were filthy. I didn’t like the dirty bathroom or the reception service either. Most of the receptionists seemed grumpy and wouldn’t even look at you. I don’t want to come back.

My stay at Hotel Guarumar Gold was a bad experience, and it needs a lot of improvement. There’s no restaurant or anything beyond the rooms at this property, so meals mean walking about 400 meters to another unit. The beach is about 500 meters away, and going between the hotel, the other unit, and the beach means walking more than 600 meters. There’s no transport if it rains, so you have to walk over in the rain to eat. Dinner was poor and the same every day, with little choice. My room had no balcony or anywhere to dry even a bikini, and the towels were small and poor quality. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for anyone with an older person or a child, and I definitely won’t return.

The location was handy for the beach, restaurants, bars, a market, and a gas station. The bed was good, and the air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, and minibar were all fine. Breakfast was good, though I missed having yogurt and cereal. Housekeeping was poor: they only took the rubbish and didn’t replace the towels. The bed linen didn’t seem clean, there was only one sheet, and the pillow was low. The shower stall was small, and the towels were very worn.

The room was small and had just the basics: beds, minibar, bathroom, air conditioning, TV, and a wardrobe. There were few power outlets, no table, and no safe. When I arrived, the bedding smelled bad and didn’t seem clean. The shower stall was small, and there was no hair dryer.
