The beach is right outside, and the beach staff were quick to help. Our infant daughter was also treated wonderfully: the crib was in great shape, and the restaurant staff went out of their way for us. The staff's individual service was incredible, and we still had a nice time. But for the price, the property and what it includes don't feel like a five-star stay. The facilities are in poor condition, there's only one restaurant, and we felt second-class compared with the corporate groups staying there. I don't understand the hotel's five-star rating, and I suspect its current state explains why it no longer has the Sofitel branding. If you're planning a midweek visit, be aware that corporate bookings share the space with leisure guests, with no real separation. Their small groups take up most of the restaurant tables and gather around the buffet, blocking it while they chat. Music from their parties carries on in the rooms past 22:00, and empty beer bottles and caps are left around the grounds and pool each morning. My family felt like our special holiday was getting in the way of someone's team-building retreat. The condition of the facilities and the stay as a whole just don't justify the high cost.

The beach view from our beautiful, comfortable room was gorgeous, and the staff were kind and accommodating. For our honeymoon, we paid for the luxury package and got champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, roses in the room, and breakfast in bed. The resort pool and direct beach access were amazing, and we loved the spa and couples massage. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good too. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is comfortable, and the food is great at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But the speakers playing live music everywhere made it hard to relax. Acoustic music didn't bother us, but when they plugged in speakers, the volume became unbearable. You couldn't enjoy a quiet drink in the lobby at night or have a nice dinner. Even lying on the other side of the pool didn't get you away from the noise. Games with kids or adults were audible to everyone, whether they wanted to join in or not. It's a good choice if you have kids, since they'll have lots to do, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to unwind without children.

The place was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. It would help future guests to have a printed brochure listing all the services available during their stay.
