The location is the only good thing. When I got to my room, the bathroom and room were dirty, and the place smelled moldy. I told the woman at reception, who came over looking annoyed, scrubbed the toilet to remove the feces, and flushed, but didn’t wash the bathroom. There was still soap residue, and the shower handle came off in my hand when I tried to use it. I heard her speaking badly about guests, saying that she had given someone information and then it was his problem if he didn’t understand. She also told guests to knock on the door to get a car moved. That seemed deeply unprofessional and lacking in character, since guests are what keep the place going. Checkout was at 12, but when she saw us there at 10 she came after us with a clipboard, almost sending us away. After that, we decided to leave. I don’t recommend it. If they want to improve, they need someone who wants to work and make a difference, or things will keep going downhill.

We didn’t have a good stay. The room had a very strong mold smell and no ventilation, and the bathroom was dirty.

Amanda was very polite to us, and the location works well if you’re traveling by car or motorcycle. There’s a decent parking area, although when it’s full, you may need to move around so someone else can get out. The room was tiny and stuffy, with moldy walls, so it was hard to spend much time in there. The sheet smelled of sweat. There was a pubic hair on the bathroom sink, nowhere to put shampoo or conditioner in the shower, a toilet that flushed poorly, and no floor squeegee. The wall between rooms was extremely thin, so we heard everything next door and didn’t feel we had much privacy. Near checkout, the shower stopped working while I was bathing, and I had to finish with cold water. Then I woke up to a gigantic centipede in the bathroom. For the price, it wasn’t worth it.

We went two days without water for showers, and we had a four-year-old child with us. We raised it with management but got no solution. The place isn’t well set up for a vacation rental: there’s one water tank for four suites, so if the street supply runs out, it can’t support all four rooms. They also needed a cleaning assistant. The admin staff do the cleaning themselves, but it isn’t thorough.
