Vila Dona Gloria

We loved staying at Pousada Vila Dona Glória and will come back as soon as we can. The rooms are great and clean, with air conditioning, and the shower is perfect. Breakfast is simple but very good. Flávio made a real difference with his courtesy and good manners.

The bathroom is huge, and the room has a mini fridge and air conditioning. There’s a heated pool and breakfast too. Everything is new, clean, and organized, and the service was helpful and polite. There’s also an elevator if you have trouble getting around. I recommend it!

The shower is decent, but it never stays hot and keeps turning cold, which makes bathing difficult. There’s no parking, so the car has to stay on the street or at a distant lot. The area floods, so when it rains you need to leave the car somewhere safe. The pousada should warn guests about possible flooding. The restaurant service also needs a lot of improvement. The staff seemed confused, forgot orders, and mixed them up. Orders take a long time, and from what I could see there was only one person in the kitchen. Breakfast was disappointing too, with no fruit and only those ready-made cakes. There’s a restaurant inside the pousada, which helped, since unfortunately the place floods when it rains. The pousada itself is very good, with new rooms, air conditioning, and a smart TV. The pool is nice, though it isn’t heated; it just takes the chill off, which is already great. It’s close to the beach, and they’ve thought of useful things in the hallway, like a water filter with cold water, a microwave, and even a way to make coffee. Everything was fragrant and tidy, and the staff were polite.

The room we stayed in was clean and had a great setup, with new furniture. It’s a cozy place, and the sauna, pool, and coffee were all excellent. The people working at the pousada were very hospitable too. I’ll definitely come back :)
