I stayed overnight while I was in São Paulo for the NFL International Football game. The customer service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. This hotel is definitely going on my list of favorites.

Having a kitchen and shopping options reasonably close by made it easy to get food beyond the Burger King next to the hotel. I loved the food here too, and looked forward to the drink choices every morning. The city sounds through an open window on a fairly high floor were soothing at bedtime, and the air smelled surprisingly clean, with none of the pollution smell I expected. I also really enjoy the city's hustle and bustle. I've sometimes had a room to myself when our group visits Brazil each year for around 10 days to two weeks, though unfortunately I don't get to come very often. We go in June, around the start of winter, and even though the pool was open and some of our group used it, it was just too cold for me. For a couple of years we picked another hotel because it was a better deal, but I'm glad we've come back. This place is a much better experience, especially for the price.

The bed and elevators are good, and there haven't been any sewer problems. I'll be here for 11 days. So far, mostly good.

I was really pleased I paid a little extra on booking.com to stay here. The place is smart, the staff are friendly, and the location, service, and quality are excellent. Compared with nearby hotels I stayed at last year, this one gives me a better location, a better price, and more room. The apartment I booked has a single bed, a cozy sitting room and kitchen with a microwave, and a small but well-equipped bathroom. It was perfectly clean. There are two TVs, and the setup seemed to use Alexa or an Amazon stick. I didn't want to sign into my account without knowing how to sign out, so I used the lovely YouTube guest setup for piano jazz. The air conditioning kept dropping to 16 degrees, and as an older person I found the digital controls a puzzle. I couldn't find instructions nearby, so I turned it off for the night. I expected more from the rooftop pool, though. There are only two lifts, so if you're on a higher floor and rushing for the airport shuttle or an Uber, allow extra time. It could take a good 10 minutes for a lift to reach reception. You could call reception to let them know you're coming, or build those minutes into your schedule. The booking process is straightforward. You can pay for breakfast or pay at the restaurant, and the fully inclusive option costs about twice as much as breakfast alone. booking.com converted the price from Brazilian money to UK pounds, which I didn't notice at first and made it look so cheap. Check what currency your country uses for the conversion. The pizza place behind the hotel and the wine bar at the petrol station are both worth visiting.
