The room was clean, breakfast was always delicious, and chatting with the couple was so warm and affectionate. Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Mari are truly one of a kind. They were kind and helpful from our first phone call, and we felt so at home that we didn't want to leave. We arrived on December 31, and dona Mari prepared a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner for us. I felt unwell for a couple of days, and she made me tea with flowers from her garden. It felt like the discomfort just lifted away. We were happy and grateful, as if we'd been staying at our grandparents' house. We'll definitely return. Those were such happy days. Mr. Nelson and dona Mari, you're like an extension of God on earth. So grateful for the days we spent with you ♥️

Staying with the Yamane family made our time on the island even better. Sr. Nelson and dona Mari treated us with so much warmth and hospitality. We came home already hoping to return whenever we can. So grateful for our new friends!
