We left frustrated by how little organization and basic consideration there was for guests. The tents are packed close together, so this didn’t feel like camping so much as a hostel, or even a motel. There was almost no privacy at night, and noise from nearby tents made it hard to sleep. The bathroom setup couldn’t handle the number of guests. There’s just one unit, with one men’s and one women’s room, and each has a toilet, sink, and shower all in one small space. The women’s bathroom was out of order during our stay. Quiet hours are meant to run from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., but even staff ignored them. Around 5 a.m. one staff member was talking loudly, while the receptionist watched videos at full volume without headphones. The early morning conversations kept us from going back to sleep. The last straw was our plan to leave a night early after booking three nights and staying two. Regina first said that was fine, then spoke negatively about us to other staff within earshot. That felt disrespectful and unprofessional. One star, only because zero isn’t an option.
