Casinha Caiçara

From the bed, hammock, or even the bathroom window, you can take in the lovely view of the sea at Ilha Bela. The accommodation was peaceful and clean, with everything listed in the ad. The beach nearby is clean and lovely, with a kiosk for meals, coffee, and more. It’s a great place to rest and enjoy a different kind of beach. My fiancée and I stayed over New Year’s, when the island was crowded and parking near the beach was scarce. Since Casinha Caiçara is about a three minute walk from the beach, we didn’t have to worry, as our car had a guaranteed parking spot at the accommodation. Marcos, the owner, lives in the house out front with his wife, who is currently pregnant. He’s attentive to details, made sure we had everything, and became a great friend.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The place is wonderful, with a fantastic view, a well equipped kitchen, and a cozy bedroom. There’s a hammock on the deck that’s just perfect for watching the sunset. Marcos is so helpful and attentive to every detail, and helped us with everything we needed. Thanks, Marcão!

You wake up to an amazing view at this fantastic house, and the price feels very fair for what you get. It’s extremely clean, and the owner is always attentive and willing to help. Since the kitchen is open, you do need to be a little more careful with your things. As with places that have great views, getting there is difficult, but a car takes care of that.

From arrival through departure, Marco looked after us so well. Casinha Caiçara was the best stay I could have had in Ilhabela. The accommodation is excellent, very clean, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a well equipped kitchen. The view is indescribably beautiful.
