Galapagos Apart Hotel

The pool was wonderful, breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the beach nearby felt like paradise. We also found it easy to get around the island from here. The flat was spotless, smelled fresh, and had everything we needed, with a really comfortable setup. Staff were quick to help and incredibly polite. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back!❤❤❤❤

The service alone made this an awful stay. It felt disrespectful to me and my family. This is the worst hotel I can imagine. I'd give it zero stars if I could, but the review form requires at least one.

The location and surroundings are very nice, but the apartment is extremely expensive for what it provides. The host was unreliable, and I uploaded photos to Google and other apps. It is advertised as a four-star apartment, though I don't think it even meets a two-star standard. There are basic problems throughout. The place is unclean, the cutlery is dirty and mismatched, the glasses don't match, and the kitchen is missing basic items like glasses. There's no hot water at the kitchen sink. The refrigerator is broken and peeling, the table lights don't work, and the bathroom bulbs are burned out. The faucets are old and don't close properly. The shower does get hot, but it takes about five minutes for the hot water to arrive. The bed and mattress need replacing, and the TV has only regional channels despite offering standard cable. An iron is listed, but there isn't one. The photos aren't accurate, and the apartment needs a full renovation. The air conditioning doesn't work as advertised. We arrived on August 13th, when the forecast low for the night was 7 degrees Celsius. There were no blankets or central heating, despite what the listing said. When I complained, the host offered no fix and tried to explain it away by saying this is a tropical country. I paid for a blanket, but the one they gave me covered only half the bed. After arguing, I got another half-blanket. I also asked about an ocean view and was told there was one, another lie unless leaving the door open counts.

The rooms and bathrooms feel old, and the gym is in pretty poor shape. A towel kit is already in the room, but it costs 60 reais. If you want anything changed, there's another charge, 3 reais per towel, if I remember correctly.
