The setting outside is beautiful, and that was the one real positive for us. My family and I stayed for five days at the end of January/2026, and we left frustrated. Our small apartment was dirty, with a squashed mosquito on the wall and a filthy bathroom sink and shower box. They put four people in there, and it wasn't the place shown when we booked. Breakfast was very basic, things kept running out, and if you got up late there might be nothing left to choose from. There were flies everywhere. The restaurant had few choices and repeated the same dishes, so after several days we'd keep eating the same food. If you're vegan, don't go. The internet signal was awful, too. It's clearly a family-run business without much ambition, and it's hard to accept these problems in a place that hosts tourists. The sea is rough and the beach is dangerous for children, with no warning signs. Staff told us a teenage tourist died there in December 2026. The place is far from everything, about 30k from downtown, so rent a car. We won't return or recommend it. I hope management can acknowledge what needs to improve.
