The front desk knew their stuff and helped make our stay memorable. The hotel is right in the heart of Salvador, and the service and food were impeccable and impressive. Breakfast was included and more than filling, and the other meals were delicious. Housekeeping scrubbed my room daily, it was so clean I could’ve eaten off the floor, and the turndown service was great. I came in January 2025 for almost a week. When I mentioned that my friend and I were celebrating milestone birthdays while booking, the owner was incredibly welcoming and gave us the best rooms in this boutique hotel. My bed was literally two king beds put together. I’ll definitely be back.

The owners and staff make you feel so welcome, and the service is exceptional. The restaurant food is excellent, and the rooms are large and luxurious. It’s right in the heart of the tourist area of Pelourinho, which is always lively. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend booking directly with the hotel.

The hotel has just 10 rooms, which gives it a lot of charm, and there’s a lovely indoor garden beside the restaurant. The gym is small, but the rest more than makes up for that. We spent two nights right in the heart of Pelourinho, and the bed was the biggest I’ve ever seen, with room for an extra pillow between ours. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the food was amazing. Breakfast was outstanding, with Bahian specialties and a French touch from the owners. I’d highly recommend it for comfort, character, and a great location in Pelourinho.

Huge thanks to Rodriguo, who walked us through the local area, told us where to get tickets for a local dance show, took us there to buy them, and arranged our taxi back to the airport. The show was definitely worth seeing. The food was really tasty and breakfast was plentiful. From day one, the owners personally welcomed us and saw us off; they clearly care, and the staff are brilliant. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, and they made this part of our honeymoon so special. One tip: take the hotel up on its offer to arrange airport transport. The small extra cost is worth avoiding the trek up that very steep hill with your suitcases.

The rooms are very comfortable, and the view from the pool reaches the Bay. The Wi-Fi was very good too. There’s a pool and gym, plus nice sitting areas at reception and on different levels. The hotel is enchanting, set in a beautifully maintained old mansion with amazing interior design, right in the center of the old town, 50 meters from the old square. Breakfast was great, with lots of fruit and a wide selection of dishes, and the staff paid so much attention to guests that you feel like you’re visiting a good friend.
